Yak inhabits part of the plateau of the high altitude Chugoku area and Tibet, and the thread made from its hair is a very good and rare material that is also called "the fiber closest to the sky". It is covered with soft, fine inner hair and outer hard hair to protect you from the harsh cold. The soft inner hair is combed without using a machine.
